Sizing a supply

• Add up your load — then choose a supply rated around 30% above it. Running at full capacity continuously shortens life.
• Output voltage — 12V and 24V are the common standards; confirm what your devices need.
• Ventilation — these generate heat and need airflow; do not seal one in an unventilated box.
• Mounting — DIN rail units sit alongside breakers; enclosed units suit standalone installations.
