Din Rail Watt Hour Energy Meter
DIN rail energy meters in Egypt
A kWh meter measures actual consumption over time, which is what makes sub-metering possible — billing a tenant, splitting a shared supply, or finding which circuit is responsible for a rising bill.
The range covers Wi-Fi and Tuya-connected energy meters from 63A to 80A, with CT clamp versions for retrofitting without cutting cables.
Choosing a meter
- Direct connected — supply passes through the meter. Simple, but requires breaking the circuit to install.
- CT clamp — a coil clamps around the existing cable, so no rewiring is needed. Best for retrofit.
- Wi-Fi and Tuya models — log consumption to an app, showing daily and monthly history rather than a running total.
- Reclosable versions — combine metering with remote switching.
These are monitoring meters, not certified for official billing. Priced in EGP.
